Description

Mount Wilson's 100-inch Telescope is normally made available for public viewing through our popular group rental program. To make this remarkable experience more accessible to visitors not associated with a group, we have set aside a night for individuals to observe with the historic telescope that astronomer Edwin Hubble used to prove the existence of other galaxies and that this Universe is expanding. This special viewing session is limited to 16 observers, so there will plenty of time for everyone to look at a significant number of targets. It is limited to four tickets per registrant. Come enjoy an incredible night of astronomy on the largest telescope in the world available for public use.

This special session runs from 7:45 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Please visit our website for more viewing session details at:       mtwilson.edu/public-ticket-nights
