Description

Return to the Sea of Tranquility: Exploring Lunar Caves, a talk by Dr. Laura Kerber, a research scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena and the Principal Investigator of a Discovery mission concept called Moon Diver, which aims to send an extreme terrain rover to explore deep caverns on the Moon in order to understand the Solar System’s largest volcanic eruptions.

After the lecture, the 100-inch Telescope will be opened for attendees to look through. This is contingent on the weather. The number of objects visitors will get to see will depend on the number in attendance. We want everyone to get a chance to look through a famous telescope.
